Ghana Training
For the last few months, we have been preparing for our trip to Ghana. We've had training sessions every few weeks, and prayer meetings starting at 7:30 AM every Saturday. Here is a glimpse of what we've done during this time.
We went on a group trip to Healthy Travel to get ourselves vaccinated. (An important step because we don't want illnesses to hinder us from being effective!)
We had our consultations, where the doctor asked us what we had already been vaccinated for, and we went over what shots we would need to get.
We needed a lot...
Brian had a lot of fun. You can almost see the white on his knuckles :P (And he actually had 3 more shots on his other arm, which you can't see o.o) I had to get 5 shots on one arm. Reuel was fortunate enough to only get 1 shot this time around. The lucky duck.
And almost a month ago now, we had a lock-in at Arlene's apartment. We were there from Friday night until Saturday morning.
Friday night, after a few good rounds of Apples to Apples, Reuel made us open up and share some deep, more personal things about ourselves.
In the morning, Chris led us in some worship, we had our usual prayer meeting and training session. And as you can see, we also worked pretty hard on our body worship. It was good times. :)
Well, we're going to be off for Ghana this Saturday! Keep us in your prayers! I will be back with a ton more pictures to share with you all!
SEE YOU ON THE FLIP SIDE!
Matt
